Practicum: The Next Step to Certification

Our comprehensive EOG Practicum Program, spanning from Level 1 to Level 4, is essential for educators aiming to achieve Orton-Gillingham certification. This hands-on experience is crucial, as it bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Without it, trained teachers miss the opportunity to refine their skills in real-world settings.

Grounded in the science of reading, our supervised practicum ensures educators master the intricacies of teaching individuals with diverse abilities, significantly enhancing their effectiveness and their students’ literacy outcomes.

After successfully completing an EOG training, participants are eligible to apply for our Practicum Program, the next step to certification.

We offer practicum opportunities across four levels:

Engage in real-world teaching scenarios that enhance your understanding and application of the Orton-Gillingham approach.

Receive personalized feedback and guidance from the Practicum Team and your Supervising Trainer to refine your instructional techniques and strategies.

Develop and master the skills necessary to effectively teach reading, spelling, and writing to all students, including those with dyslexia. Successfully prepare for and achieve Orton-Gillingham certification, ensuring you are well-equipped to provide specialized instruction
