Before EOG

Over the past four years, I have worked with Edwards Orton-Gillingham to deliver high quality professional learning to all of our teachers, paraprofessionals and related service providers. The impact of this investment is evident in the observed improvement in teacher practice and student achievement.

After EOG

As a school, we carefully monitor student progress in all literacy components through our formative classroom assessment practices and TCRWP assessments. Since we have implemented Orton Gillingham instruction school wide, the gains achieved in phonemic awareness, encoding, decoding and etymology are consistent among all classes and grades.

It is also evident that there is transference from Orton Gillingham instruction to student writing. I support the Edwards Orton Gillingham team without reservation and encourage all looking for positive literacy change in their schools to seek EOG training services.
